The Say-mah-mit site at Noon's Creek on Burrard Inlet was a large precontact Tsleil-Waututh village. Today the City of Port Moody is located atop this ancient village. Notably, middens at the site contain evidence that a large number of eulachon were processed and/or consumed here, indicating either a large eulachon run in Noon's Creek, or access to eulachon on the nearby Fraser River.
